I identify as a pansexual indigiqueer citizen of the Nooksack Nation to highlight my indigenity's both political and cultural aspects like Dr. Adriene Keen does. My beading indigenizes everyday items and continues the medicine of beadwork. My nətán (mother), a member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, started beading at the age of five and passed those traditions Cuyya taught her to me in my teens. I want to take up space with my creations add indigenous flair to accessories of all kinds.
